Our Story

A women's dining experience born in La Roma, CDMX

Hello, we are Pol & Sophia, two women living in La Roma Sur, CDMX. We both moved to the city and have realized how tough it can be to get situated in a city of 20 million people, so we have decided to open up our home, La Casita, to create a warm, welcome space for other artists and professionals to meet, enjoy nourishing foods, and be welcomed into the massive city that is Mexico City. Pol is from Cancun and Sophia is from a small town in Northern California. Pol is bilingual and Sophia speaks intermediate spanish. We are both very passionate about curating unforgettable dinner experiences that make newcomers feel welcome and at home whether they are just passing through or new to the city. Since September 2023, we have hosted dinners for women from all over the world. We love taking care of people, welcoming them into our home, and creating an experience that makes them fall in love with the city as we have.

As our dedicated Event Coordinator, Sophia organizes the menu, does our backend work, and finds local produce to feature, and collaborates with local talent to curate an unforgettable evening evening.

POL SALAZAR

Creative Director

Pol is an experienced professional photographer, and has a creative vision that has lead La Casita to where it is today. She both handles accounting and is the creative brains behind our design and brings our ideas to life.
